There’s nothing more American than making voting accessible and easy for everyone registered to do so. There’s nothing more unAmerican than a political party that deliberately encourages voter suppression. It’s damn shameful, but we have the power to change this scenario by voting out boot licking Trumpanzees like Rob Wittman. This is our moment, and as the old saying goes, If not now, when? If not us then who?
The 29 states that don't have Vote Centers should take note of those 21 plus the District of Columbia who do. Voter turnout is abysmal enough. Now Trump is pressuring the Supreme Court to expedite sweeping mail voting restrictions without delay. Vote Centers are an easy fix to encourage more voters to do their civic duty. Press your state to do so.
I had no idea this was happening and i am concerned of all the missed votes due to location confusion. One only has so much time during a work schedule to vote and a solution might be voting at all locations during Election Day as some states provide. Is that a realistic solution for our area?
Linda, I had no idea this was happening either until I began researching my article. Twenty-one states plus the District of Columbia have some form of Vote Center. The others have no excuse for continuing the whack-a-mole practice of confusing voters who want to do their civic duty, but can't when they show up at the wrong place. Vote Centers would fix that. Press you state to convert to Vote Centers. We have enough voter suppression coming from the Trump administration. Boards of elections shouldn't be accomplices.

More voting centers and less data centers.
